The Nerdy Bird!

Back in 2008 when I started TheNerdyBird.com, I also used “The Nerdy Bird” as a moniker most places online. I eventually altered my username on Twitter to establish my real name better in the journalism realm but never could let go of my geeky name.

Stay tuned as you may be noticing some changes to TheNerdyBird.com while I reacquaint myself in the industry.

As always, thanks so much for your never ending support and enthusiasm for my work. Don’t forget you can find me on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and Instagram!

Batman Is My Friend

Last year I was asked to be involved in a documentary about Batman. How could I say no? Filming with Brett Culp was a real pleasure and while I had no idea when the film would see the light of day, I knew it would be impressive. The Kickstarter campaign for “Legends of the Knight” met its goal in less than 48 hours! I’ve also been mentioned in articles on the film in USA TodayThe Hollywood Reporter, and more. I love the reactions the trailer has been getting and I really can’t wait to see the finished product!

I’ve also been gearing up for the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Muscle Walk. My team “The Nerdy Birds” are looking to exceed our goal. Find out how you can help here.

And if you’re looking to say hello at a convention this year, my first appearance will be at C2E2 in Chicago at the end of April. Hope to see you there!

Update

I’m very excited for New York Comic-Con. I love attending new conventions across the country but it’s always nice to spend time at my home show and let all my friends come to me for a change. Plus, there’s some new exciting news – post-NYCC I’ll be writing my comic column for IGN.com! All that plus where you can find me at NYCC here.
